President and General Secretary To Lam proposed ways to strengthen relations between Vietnam and the European Union. He suggested that Vietnam could act as a testing model to promote cooperation between ASEAN and the EU. His proposals include connecting the technology ecosystems of both sides. He also called for the advancement of green transformation.
