Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said the party is preparing to take a long march to Islamabad. He said billions of rupees are being spent on BISP, while the goal of reducing poverty remains a challenge. Speaking at a workers' gathering in the City of Quaid, he directed local government representatives to form neighborhood committees.
