L’Assemblée nationale adopte la loi sur le référendum, l’opposition dénonce un passage en force
The National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of the Congo adopted a law on referendum organization on October 23. The decision came after the body addressed concerns raised by the Constitutional Court. The text must now return to the Senate for a second reading. Once that process is complete, it will be sent to the head of state for promulgation. Opposition members have criticized the move as a forced passage.

Après son adoption, le texte retourne au Sénat pour une seconde lecture, avant sa transmission au chef de l’État en vue de sa promulgation.
