Footage from Hadžići shows a dramatic police operation against a sizable group of migrants, a number of whom were taken into custody. The raid drew in members of the Special Unit, who joined ordinary officers on the ground. The town, west of Sarajevo, lies along a corridor that people moving irregularly through the Balkans have used for years. Moments captured on video show how quickly the situation escalated once officers moved in. Authorities in the canton have been under pressure to respond after repeated sightings of migrant groups in the area. No official count of those detained has been released yet. The clip has been shared heavily online, prompting debate about how such interventions are conducted. It is the latest in a string of similar actions along the route.
