Samuel García celebra que NL es uno de los estados con mayor percepción de seguridad; resultados muestran colaboración multidisciplinaria, dice
Nuevo León governor Samuel García is celebrating his state's standing as one of the safest in Mexico by perception. The figures come from the ENSU survey prepared by Inegi, the national statistics institute. That survey found 70 per cent of Nuevo León residents feel safe in the city they live in. García read the result as evidence that a coordinated approach is paying off. In his view, the outcome reflects multidisciplinary collaboration rather than luck. Security perception numbers carry real political weight, since residents measure their governments partly by how protected they feel. The governor has used similar data before to make the case that his strategy is on the right track.
