Architect Spalla has filed a lawsuit with the Tar regarding the assignment of the Ducale project to Renzo Piano. Spalla previously worked on the first restoration of the site in 1992. He claims the procedure used to select the other architect lacked transparency. The lawsuit follows a denial of access to documents concerning the recovery project of the Logge.
