The Unity and Reform Movement reaffirmed its pride in gains tied to the Moroccan Sahara issue and its rejection of normalization, while expressing support for the Palestinian cause. At the opening of its eighth national congress in Bouznika, continuing until Oct. 25, it called for reviewing the decision to unify the Friday sermon and for reversing the “exemption of diligent preachers.” It also called for freedom for Rif detainees and for “Gen Z.”
