Culmina tercera etapa de recuperación en fosa común del Panteón de Dolores; rescatan restos de 24 individuos
The third phase of recovery work at a common grave in the Panteón de Dolores has come to a close. During this stage, teams rescued the remains of 24 individuals from the site. The remains were then transferred to the Instituto de Servicios Periciales y Ciencias Forenses for examination. Experts there will analyze and classify what was recovered so its characteristics can be verified. The goal is to corroborate hypotheses about who the individuals were and, in time, to establish their identities. The Panteón de Dolores in Mexico City has been the setting for this kind of forensic recovery work across several stages. Every identified set of remains can bring a family one step closer to an answer.
