Tolu Arokodare has joined the 100-goal club, and he did it on a European night. The Super Eagles striker scored as Ajax beat Atalanta 2-0 in the UEFA Conference League. Reaching a century of career goals in a continental competition gives the milestone extra weight. He spoke about the landmark after the match, treating it as a moment worth pausing for. Ajax valued the contribution too, since his goal helped carry them through the tie. For Nigeria, another attacker finding form in Europe deepens the options available to the national team. The target now is simple: keep the numbers climbing from here.
