Дипфейки и стереотипы: ООН предупреждает о новых угрозах для женщин в эпоху ИИ
The United Nations has warned that artificial intelligence is opening up new forms of gender-based violence aimed at women. Deepfake technology can now fabricate intimate videos and photographs of real people, and these fakes spread faster than victims can knock them down. Digital blackmail and cyberbullying carried out with AI tools add another layer of pressure on women and girls online. The organization also points to harmful stereotypes baked into AI systems, which can quietly reinforce discrimination instead of reducing it. Perpetrators use these tools to shame, silence and control women, often with little legal recourse available to the targets. The UN is pressing governments and technology companies to strengthen protections and accountability as AI features spread across everyday platforms.
