Senamhi reports that varying rainfall and humidity levels are impacting crops in the Peruvian highlands. In the central and southern regions, low soil humidity and localized frosts are occurring. High temperatures in these areas have increased the water needs of plantations. Meanwhile, the northern highlands are experiencing very different environmental conditions.
