MetMalaysia warned of heavy rain coming with gusty winds and lightning during the affected hours. Sudden downpours could cut visibility on roads and trigger flash floods in low-lying areas, so residents were told to stay alert. Motorists and anyone planning outdoor work were advised to hold off if conditions turned rough. Such advisories are usually updated or lifted as the weather system moves, and the department urged the public to keep checking for fresh bulletins.
