The car-free day on the Sudirman-Thamrin stretch and along Rasuna Said will be skipped this week, and residents should plan around it. City officials called off the usual session because the JRF 2026 event is set to run through several roads that normally host the weekly CFD route. With the festival course cutting across those arteries, holding the car-free activity at the same time was simply not workable. Cyclists, joggers and families who treat the closed streets as their exercise spot will have to find an alternative this weekend. Drivers, meanwhile, should expect altered traffic arrangements in the area while the event is underway. Normal CFD operations are expected to return once the festival wraps up.
