Colorado Eagles goalie Ilya Nabokov started the AHL regular season game against the Bakersfield Condors and finished on the winning side, 4-1. He stopped 37 of the 38 shots that came his way over the night. The performance stacks onto an already strong start to his season in North America. He has now won four of his five appearances in the league. His save percentage across those games sits at 94.5 percent. His goals-against average stands at 1.78. Numbers of that sort have made him one of the calmer hands in the crease for the Eagles this season. The win over Bakersfield is the latest entry in a steady run of nights between the pipes.
