A man was shot and killed on Friday afternoon, October 23, at a gold concession near Snesi Bergi. Initial reports indicate that an argument took place before the shooting. The suspected shooter fled the scene. Police from Brokopondo and the Capital Crimes unit are investigating. The motive for the killing is currently unknown.
Een man is vrijdagmiddag 23 oktober doodgeschoten op een goudconcessie bij Snesi Bergi. Volgens eerste informatie ging een woordenwisseling vooraf aan het schieten. De vermoedelijke schutter vluchtte. Politie Brokopondo en Kapitale Delicten zijn ingeschakeld. Het motief is vooralsnog onbekend.
