Thousands of people held rallies in Istanbul and Ankara on Saturday. The protesters demonstrated against what they described as increasing pressure on journalists in Turkey. Their grievances included the arrest of journalists and the closure of media outlets. They also protested the appointment of state administrators.
Šeštadienį Stambule ir Ankaroje tūkstančiai žmonių surengė mitingus, protestuodami prieš, kaip jie teigė, didėjantį spaudimą žurnalistams Turkijoje, įskaitant areštus, žiniasklaidos priemonių uždarymus ir valstybės administratorių paskyrimus.
