Slavi Binev was found shot dead in his home in Sofia. He was 60 years old and held several high-level positions. He served as the president of the Bulgarian Taekwondo Federation and vice president of the European Taekwondo Union. He was also a former member of the European Parliament. Police have detained three suspects in connection with the death.
