Medellín and the national government are implementing a security strategy with support from the United States. They aim to combat criminal structures, narcotics trafficking, and mining activities that fuel conflict. This effort will be managed through a facility known as the C5i. This center is referred to as the Pentagon of Medellín. It will function as a hub for control, computing, communication, and contact.
