The Department of Justice has given 58 California counties 48 hours to isolate ballots from suspected non-citizens. This warning comes less than two weeks before midterm elections. The Trump administration warned election officials that they could face federal oversight. Criminal liability is also a possibility if votes from suspected non-citizens are counted.
