Ali Jannati, Iran's former minister of culture and Islamic guidance, said the United States has accepted the broad outline of Iran's seven-point proposal, but the two sides disagree over the order in which its clauses should be carried out. He said indirect negotiations brokered by Qatar are still under way but have so far produced no result.
