Inspection committees from the Supreme Audit Institution have begun audit and control work covering procurement and contracts departments at five public institutions and companies and their annexes. The entities are spread across Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and Fez. The audits follow indications of irregularities in the management of public orders with a total value approaching 150 million dirhams, or 15 billion centimes. Well-informed sources told Hespress that audit judges have started the work.
