Inez Shaw and the Elizabeth Galloway Academy community won the 2026 Wear the Hope challenge in Cape Town. They created a mayoral jersey called masikhuthazane. The garment was made using crochet techniques and rescued yarn. It was designed for the Festive Lights Switch-On. The project serves as a symbol of unity.
