Ashok Kumar, a professor at Birkbeck, appeared on Politics Live. He was invited to discuss a motion adopted at the Greens' conference this month. The motion in question stated that Zionism is racism. This appearance has caused anger because a Jewish woman was lambasted during the segment. Critics claim the BBC gave the activist free rein during the discussion.
