SAM Organization for Rights and Freedoms called for urgent international action to end the siege imposed on Taiz city and to halt attacks targeting civilians. It warned that the humanitarian and rights crisis is worsening because of intensified shelling, closed supply routes, and shortages of food, fuel, and medicine. The organization made the call in two urgent rights briefings sent on October 19 and 23.
