Taulant Balla, a political leader for the Socialist Party in the Tirana District, spoke in Golem about the impact of violent protests in the capital. He noted that these scenes of violence are damaging the image of Albania. Tourism businesses are reporting canceled reservations because of the unrest. Balla described Golem as the capital of tourism.
