The Ministry of Health aims to increase the number of psychiatry specialists through enhanced professional training. The current ratio is one specialist for every 69,000 residents. The ministry wants to improve this to one specialist for every 40,000 people.
KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) menyasarkan nisbah seorang pakar psikiatri bagi setiap 40,000 penduduk berbanding seorang bagi setiap 69,000 penduduk ketika ini menerusi peningkatan latihan kepakaran.
