Βόρειο Σέλας στην Ελλάδα: Όταν ο αττικός ουρανός θύμισε Βόρειο Πόλο
Full story
An aurora borealis has been seen in Greece, with the sky above Attica briefly recalling the look of the North Pole. Displays of this kind are far from a regular occurrence at Greek latitudes. According to the report, the first documented appearance of the northern lights in the country dates back to 1870. The recent sighting therefore joins a local record stretching back more than a century and a half.
