The MASAM mine-clearing project in Yemen announced that it had removed 597,965 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices. It said it had cleared 86,503,193 square meters of Yemeni land. The figures cover the period from the project's launch at the end of June 2018 through October 23, 2026, according to the announcement.
