Por el aumento del caudal, cerraron parcialmente las Cataratas del Iguazú
The Superior Circuit of the Iguazú Falls was temporarily closed by National Parks and the company Iguazú Argentina. The closure was caused by a rapid increase in the river's flow. In Capanema, opposite the town of Andresito, the flow doubled in only 24 hours. It rose from 8,750 to 17,600 cubic meters per second. Weather forecasts suggest sunny weather will return throughout the week, providing some relief.
La veloz crecida del río obligó a Parques Nacionales y la empresa Iguazú Argentina a cerrar temporalmente el acceso al Circuito Superior. En Capanema, frente a la localidad misionera de Andresito, en sólo 24 horas el caudal se duplicó: pasó de 8.750 a 17.600 metros cúbicos por segundo. La previsión meteorológica indica que el sol volverá a reinar durante toda la semana, trayendo algo de alivio.
