The leader of the UDI, Ramirez, supports the continuity of Rabat. He claims the government of Boric failed to follow the law by rejecting sentence reductions. Ramirez stated that it is difficult to ask a minister to ignore court rulings and the law to avoid political problems.
"Es muy difícil pedirle a un ministro que, con tal de ahorrarse un problema político, haga lo contrario a lo que ha dictaminado de manera masiva los tribunales y a lo que claramente expresa la ley”, declaró el timonel de la UDI.
