TSE alerta para informações falsas sobre eleitor que 'descobre que outra pessoa votou em seu lugar'
The Superior Electoral Court issued a note on Sunday warning against false information spreading on social networks. These messages provide incorrect instructions on what to do if a voter is told someone else already voted in their place. The court clarified the actual procedure for such a situation. If a person finds their vote already registered, the president of the receiving table must inform the electoral judge. The judge will then take the appropriate legal measures.
O Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) publicou uma nota, neste domingo (25), alertando para mensagens falsas que circulam nas redes sociais com orientações incorretas sobre "o que fazer caso um eleitor chegue à seção eleitoral e seja informado de que outra pessoa já votou em seu lugar". 🚨De acordo com o TSE, se uma pessoa comparecer para votar e descobrir que seu voto já consta como registrado, o presidente da mesa receptora deve comunicar o caso ao juiz eleitoral, que tomará as providências cabíveis.
