An official report put the cost of direct exceptional support for road freight and passenger transport professionals at 2,488 billion dirhams over nine months. The support was reintroduced this year after fuel prices rose sharply in Morocco. The report links the increase to fluctuations in global oil markets, especially disruption in the Middle East. The Ministry of Economy and Finance included the figures in its compensation report.
