The Chiapas prosecutor reported that a grandmother and granddaughter were victims of a double feminicide in Ostuacán. The motive for the crime was personal revenge. Two suspects, identified as Armando "N" and Andrés "N", were involved in the attack. A mob snatched the suspects away from police custody. One of the men was killed by the crowd. The other suspect was left seriously injured.
