The Kadena US Air Force base in Japan will ban BYD cars starting October 26. Officials fear that systems and cameras in these Chinese vehicles could collect sensitive military data. This includes the potential collection of images and other army information. The base is taking this step as a precaution. There is currently no proof that such data collection has occurred.
