The polls have closed for the second round of Brazil's elections, a showdown framed as a body-to-body battle between Lula and Bolsonaro. The vote ran longer than planned: the Supreme Court extended the process by two hours. The extension came at the request of Lula's campaign. The stated reason was transport problems in three cities in Bahia. Because moving around those cities was proving difficult, the court allowed voters extra time to cast their ballots. With the voting window now shut, the duel between the two candidates rests on the count.
