Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) has set a target of developing 5,000 semiconductor industry talents between 2027 and 2030. The announcement was made in Kulim. The talent pipeline will run through a program called MARA Semiconductor & High-Tech Industry Future Talent, or SHIFT. Beyond the target, the timeframe and the program name, the brief report gave no further details.
