TÜRK-İŞ’ten vergi indirimi çağrısı
Eyüp Alemdar, a leader within TÜRK-İŞ and the Koop-İş Union, has called for changes to tax policies. He stated that employees pay 65 percent of the income tax in the country. Alemdar argued that tax amounts should be based on income levels, with those earning more paying more. He expressed a desire for workers to maintain the same purchasing power in December as they had in January. He believes workers should not pay a higher proportional tax than lawyers, contractors, or jewelers.
