Workers who travel to and from work via fly-in fly-out arrangements have expressed dissatisfaction with public transport to Perth. They claim the Airport Line does not start early enough to accommodate their needs. Most peak flight departures occur between 4am and 8am. The current service times make it difficult for these workers to reach the airport in time for their flights.
FIFO workers considering public transport for their journey to Perth have long complained the Airport Line service is not early enough to catch the morning peak of flights, which runs from about 4am to 8am.
