Copenhagen Municipality has a food strategy stating that the wishes of nursing home residents should be the top priority. Despite this, half of the residents find this is not the case. Some elderly people have been denied beef on their birthdays. A majority in the Health and Care Committee refuses to exempt elderly meals from the strategy or its climate goals.
