The 2026 budget execution for the first nine months shows a primary surplus of 7.5 billion euros. This result exceeded initial targets. The final balance also showed a positive surprise with a surplus of 127 million euros. Tax revenues and VAT provided a strong boost to these figures. Additionally, the acceleration of Recovery Fund projects between January and September contributed to the outcome.
