A chip factory project worth 1.3 billion dollars by the Viettel group in the outskirts of Hanoi is facing delays. The site remains overgrown with vegetation. For several months, the group has been in talks with the Dutch company ASML regarding a lithography machine. No agreement has been reached yet. This delay puts the 2027 goal for the facility at risk.
