Transport Minister Anthony Loke denied that financial aid for taxi, rental car, and school bus drivers in Melaka was intended to gain votes for the state election. The special assistance amounted to 1,000 ringgit per driver. He clarified that such aid is available to drivers nationwide and not just in that specific region.
