Weather update: Severe thunderstorms hit KZN and Eastern Cape, damaging winds threaten other regions

The South African Weather Service has released weather warnings for multiple regions. A Yellow Level 2 warning is in place for severe thunderstorms. These storms are expected to hit most of KwaZulu-Natal and northern parts of the Eastern Cape. Separate warnings have been issued for other areas. A Yellow Level 1 warning warns of damaging winds in parts of the Free State and Northern Cape.
