EU debt is expected to reach 1 trillion euros by the end of 2027 and exceed 500% of the bloc's budget, according to the title. Tony Murphy, head of the European Court of Auditors, called it a serious sum. He said financial pressure on the EU budget is building "like in a pressure cooker."
