The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has issued a directive to the Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority and other industry companies. They must increase the storage of frozen fish supplies. This action is a response to the Super El Nino phenomenon. The weather event is expected to hit the Southeast Asian region.
KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan (KPKM) mengarahkan Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia (LKIM) dan syarikat terbabit industri perikanan supaya meningkatkan penyimpanan bekalan ikan sejuk beku susulan fenomena Super El Nino yang dijangka melanda rantau Asia Tenggara.
