Full story
Barbara Lloyd trains border collies and observes a balance in their nature. These dogs are bold when working with livestock. However, they remain highly sensitive to the people who care for them. This emotional connection is a basic requirement for the dogs to follow commands. While their speed and intelligence are often noticed, a less obvious quality shapes how they learn. This trait also affects how they work and bond with humans.
