More than 65% of forest areas in Belarus damaged by windthrow have been developed, according to the report. In 2026, strong winds damaged 20,000 hectares of forest. Of that area, 6,900 hectares are accessible plots that require continuous sanitary felling.
В 2026 году в результате сильных ветров повреждено 20 тыс. га лесных насаждений, из которых 6,9 тыс. га требуют проведения сплошных санитарных рубок (доступные участки).
