Full story
Vitinha is the highest ranked Portuguese player in the 2025/26 Ballon d'Or rankings, placing 14th. Four Portuguese players were included in the list of 30 nominees. No Portuguese players made it into the top 10. João Neves, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, finished in 19th place. This is the same position Neves held during the 2024/25 period.
