A United Nations-mandated international commission of inquiry accused Israel on Monday of committing crimes against humanity against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including genocide, and of continuing a genocide in Gaza. Israel rejected the report’s conclusions. Its ambassador in Geneva called the findings an attempt to destroy the Jewish state and a denial of its basic right to exist.
