Prime Minister Andrej Babiš announced that the government will take up rising fuel prices again at Monday's meeting. In an Instagram video he said the refineries appear to be pocketing disproportionate profits, adding that nobody should be making money off the war. He has previously refused to rule out reintroducing caps on fuel margins. What he will not propose is a cut in the excise tax on petrol and diesel.
